More Info: Bears Across Collier is a local art auction hosted by Palmetto Ridge Highschool (PRHS) benefitting the Florida Wildlife Federation (FWF).PRHS Construction Academy built wooden bear statues and 22 local artists “adopted” each of the bears to custom decorate. (Please see the artist line up below). Each of the decorated bears will be on display at the Norris Center from March 21 until April 16th! Starting March 21st, we welcome you to visit this display at the Norris Center and you can place your bids online for your chance to take home a one of a kind piece of art while supporting FWF’s southwest Florida bear conservation efforts! Access the auction here (all items will be listed and ready for bids on March 21st): https://app.galabid.com/bearsacrosscollier/items

FWF’s southwest Florida office, which is in Naples, opened in 1994 with a goal to protect the western Everglades from sprawling growth and continues that mission to this day. FWF actively works to protect the habitat for the Florida black bear and to help reduce potential human-bear conflicts throughout Southwest Florida.
The event is on April 16th from 11:30-2:30 at Cambier Park. All the bears will be on display on the bandshell along with the artist’s photo/bio. We will have several PRHS students showcasing their musical talents from the band and talent show winners and the culinary students will be providing some light refreshments!
